A New Year's Wish by James McDonald - poem
Into the new year we ride,
With ideas to renew,
All the things left behind,
That're good for us two.
And so as you ponder this date,
And you plan out your year.
I say shoot for the stars,
And have no thought of fear.
Let's remember that kindness,
And patience are good.
But don't forget to play hard,
And win like you should.
So as the year says goodbye,
Let's say hello to the new.
And may our paths cross in kindness,
In whatever we do.
