The giant Poem by Marshak for children
Again,
Two,
Three,
Four.
The story begins:
In the one hundred and thirteenth apartment
The giant lives with us.
On the table he builds towers,
Building a city in five minutes.
Faithful horse and elephant home
Under the table his live.
Takes it out of the closet
Long-legged giraffe,
And from a Desk drawer -
Long-eared donkey.
Full of powerful forces,
He from the house to the gate
A train passenger
The rope leads.
And when large puddles
Bottled spring
The giant in the Navy is
The younger officers.
His sailor's pea coat,
The pea coat anchor.
Cruiser and Mononoke
He leads through the sea.
The boat for the steamer
He brings into the ocean.
And it grows every year,
This glorious giant!
