Hyena Poem by Marshak for children

Snorted rhinos,
Sleeps long-legged ostrich.
Thick-skinned Behemoth
Lay calmly on his stomach.
Sleeping camel, kneeling.
But I can't sleep - the hyena!

It is my time:
Will I howl until morning.
In the afternoon I was silent, grimly -
I'm afraid the daily noise -
But my raucous laughter
At night scares everyone!
Even the lions are afraid of me...
As above them not to laugh?
